" Fighting for Survival "

I was fortunate enough to capture the scene on a Film..and each picture will spell in Words this Coyote's family fight for Survival..

One rainy day I was out there looking for something to capture..and fortunately I discovered Coyote Den in Yellowstone National Park...At first I saw something moving..I decide to approach carefuly as I didnt know what it was...Soon enough I knew it was Coyote's pups...I look around knowing that mom or dad must be in vicinity....Surely there was Coyote dragging young deer that he just killed to feed his youngs.As I was keeping an eye on a den and other eye on a kill...I shot images of the pups not knowing how many were there...He spotted me and left the kill ....

I tried to get closer to den....while suddenly the eary voice broke of from a high above howling...It was mother signaling that someone is near the Den....The howling voice was unbeleivable to my ears that it froze my blood in my veins..and stopped my breath....I must admit I was scared..That sound could be heard echoing all over the area..and that voice is still today with me....

Caught between the kill, the Den and Mother coming down the hill as fast then Icould escape...I started to back up slowly with my tripod that is not light (25 lb plus 600 mm lens 16 lb) but still shooting...

In a matters of seconds all pups came out of the Den knowing they were not in danger any more...There were 4 of them but I was only able to capture 3...one was to close for my lens...They were happy once again and knowing they were safe....Both parents took their pups deep in a woods and didnt return that day to the Den...I revisited the den next day ...it was empty.....but the following day they were back in a den....I decided not to visit area any more...and let them live their life happy ever after...but not before I took almost 500 shots to last me for ever...My Adventure ended right here and once more I have learned wildlife habitat is not an easy one and animals fight hard for their survival.....
